Our Story
Nestled in the former fishing village of Peshtani — halfway between Ohrid and the ancient monastery of St. Naum — Hotel Desaret sits where the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ohrid meet the forested slopes of Galičica National Park. This is one of the last unspoiled corners of the Mediterranean world, where the pace of life still follows the rhythm of the seasons.
Our resort offers over 200 rooms and 11 private villa apartments, each with its own terrace overlooking the lake or gardens. On-site you'll find a restaurant serving regional cuisine, separate pools for adults and children, a garden bar beneath the olive trees, and sports facilities including tennis and bowling. The pebble beaches of Peshtani are a short walk away, and Ohrid's UNESCO Old Town is just 12 km north.
